Provides Recovery Assistant (RA) services with the aim of enhancing the capabilities and strengths of individuals linked to the Connecticut ABI Waiver Program.
The primary objective is to cultivate and sustain community living skills in alignment with the therapeutic goals specified in their care plans.
To achieve this, credentialed support staff, trained and supervised by PTL management. We implement activities focused on improving socialization, self-advocacy, and the identification and development of natural supports.
ABI Recovery Assistants play a crucial role in supporting Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and ensuring medication compliance. They also engage in safety monitoring and provide non-medical assistance.
Additionally, these services involve effective communication and coordination with interdisciplinary support options associated with the participant, contributing to a holistic approach to care and support.
